Chazy Attractions
Founded in 1763, Jean Fromboise began an apple orchard after the Revolutionary War. Today, Chazy is noted for its McIntosh apple orchards.
The museum opened in 1924, by Alice T. Miner, a pioneer in the colonial revivement movement and wife of William H. Miner, railroad industrialist. The rooms are filled with period furniture, miniature furniture, a vast china collection, porcelain and glass, a superb collection of early samplers and other textiles, War of 1812 muskets, Revolutionary War cannon balls, dolls and other early Americana.
