Boonville Attractions

The town was named for Garret Boon, an agent of the Holland Land Co. The company owned land in the area at the end of the 18th century. Prosperity came to the town in the mid-1800s due to the Black River Canal and Railroad.

Boonville offers fishing, hunting, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, camping, golf, and tennis opportunities.
