Steins (pronounced Steens) Railroad Ghost Town is 16 miles west of Lordsburg. From 1905 to 1945 it was a stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad and reached a population of 1,300. There are now ten buildings open to visitors, including a restored museum with historical displays.
