Salinas Pueblo National Monument

 
Southeast of Albuquerque is the Salinas Pueblo National Monument, which contains within its extensive area remains left by the Spanish conquistadors as well as the native Indian.

The monument covers a total land area of 1,100 acres, in three units: Quarai, Abo and Gran Quivira.

May 25 to September 3: 9am-6pm
September 4 to May 24: 9am-5pm
Always closed on: New Year's Day (January 1), Thanksgiving - USA (4th Thursday, November ), Christmas - Christian (December 25)
Tips: Leashed pets allowed on trails. Stay on trails to avoid occasional rattlesnakes. Collecting of materials is prohibited.
Disability Access: Partial facilities for persons with disabilities.
