Wolfeboro Attractions

The Clark House Museum Complex in Wolfeboro includes the 1820 Pleasant Valley School, the Colonial style Clark House, and the Monitor Engine Co. Firehouse Museum, which is a replica of an 1862 firehouse. Each building contains historical furnishings of equipment.

The E Stanley Wright Museum in Wolfeboro features memorabilia of American life from 1939 to 1945. The collection includes vehicles, equipment, clothing, music, film clips, periodicals and other items.

The Hampshire Pewter Company in Wolfeboro uses 16th century methods in its production of holloware and table accessories. A video presentation and tour of the factory describe the process.

The Libby Museum in Wolfeboro features displays on the natural and cultural history of the local area. Children's programs and changing art exhibits are also presented.

The museum was founded in 1912 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Housed on the Jones Farm, the New Hampshire Farm Museum complex consists of a number of farm buildings in a variety of architectural styles. The museum displays old farm equipment and offers workshops or demonstrations on early farm life.

The New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro features a number of old and restored pleasure boats, motors and boating accessories.

The Museum of Childhood in Wakefield features an extensive toy and doll collection from the 1800's. The museum also features a small 1890 school house.
