Rindge Attractions

Rindge (pop. 5,500) offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, with boating and fishing in the summer and skating, skiing, and ice fishing in the winter. The town is home to Franklin Pierce College.
Cathedral of the Pines
Cathedral of the Pines is a memorial to those killed in war. The property was the intended site of a home for Sanderson Sloane, a B-17 bomber pilot shot down over Germany in 1944.

There is an altar made of stones donated by American presidents and the 50 states. Also on the site is a Memorial Bell Tower and a museum with war-time artifacts.
