New Brunswick - Rutgers University

Rutgers began as a land-grant college and has the status of a state university. It is comprised of four campuses and was the site of the first formal collegiate football game in 1869.

Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum

The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum features 50,000 works of art such as paintings and sculptures from the late 18th century to present; original illustrations for children's literature; stained glass and a Russian art collection.

Rutgers Gardens is a series of botanical collections arranged in garden settings and spread over fifty acres. The collections include shrubs, trees, hollies, rhododendron and Azaleas, some dating back to 1927.
