St Christoffel National Park

St Christoffel National Park contains diverse species of flora, from orchids to saba palms, and many kinds of birds, lizards and other animals. Christoffel mountain offers broad, scenic vistas from its top. Indian petroglyphs adorn some rock faces. The park was formerly a plantation, and throughout the grounds there remain the ruins of plantation houses, out-buildings and slave quarters.

Visitors enter the park at the Landhuis Savonet museum. There are guided tours of the park for walkers, drivers and horseback riders.
