Negril - Great Morass

The Great Morass, a protected area where visitors encounter towering Royal Palms, exotic birds and crocodiles, stretches 10mi/16k from the South Negril River to Orange Bay.

The Morass is home to the 351ac/140ha Royal Palm Preserve which serves as protection for the largest stand of Jamaican Royal Palms in the world. Villagers will take you on a two-hour tour of the swamp.
