Located at Mahoney State Park is the gigantic Strategic Air Command Museum, displaying aircraft, intercontinental rockets and much more from the arsenal of the SAC, which was (and in principle still is) responsible for the conduct of atomic war from the air during the cold war.
In 2001 the name of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) Museum was changed to the Strategic Air & Space Museum.

The Wildlife Safari lets visitors travel in their vehicles or on the Safari train while animals roam freely. Some of the North American animals in the park are bison, elk, pron-horn antelope, sandhill cranes and waterfowl.
