Nashville - Music Square

The area round Music Square, in southwestern downtown Nashville, is the heart of the music industry. Apart from souvenir shops and museums devoted to musicians of greater or Country Music Hall of Fame lesser fame the main sight is the Country Music Hall of Fame, which commemorates the greats of the music business and displays memorabilia of famous singers. There are also guided tours of the historic RCA Studio B in which many a hit first made its mark. The limousines of the great ones, including Elvis Presley's Cadillac, can be seen in the nearby Car Collectors Hall of Fame whilst the Hank Williams Jr. Museum is dedicated to one of the greatest performers of country music.
