Description
(Local Name: Palazzo Cuomo/Museo Filangieri) Via Biagio continues northeast and leads into Via del Duomo. Along this street to the right is the Palazzo Cuomo, a fine Early Renaissance building (1464-90) which now houses the Museo Filangieri, with arms, majolica, porcelain, enamel-work and pictures. On the opposite side of the street, a little farther northeast, is the church of San Giorgio Maggiore, founded in the fifth century and rebuilt in the 17th century.
