Namur - Cathedral of Saint Aubain

Straight ahead west of Saint-Loup the Place Saint Aubain opens out with the seat of the provincial government on its right side; this is the white shining former bishops' palace. In the middle of the square rises the Cathedral of Saint Aubain, a stately Classical domed building dating from 1751-1767 which was built by Gaetano Pizzoni from Milan on the site of a previous 11th C. church.
