Náfpaktos - Mórnos
Immediately east of the town of Náfpaktos the river Mórnos, which rises on Mt Iti (2,152m/7,061ft), flows into the Gulf of Corinth. A dam on the upper course of the river has formed an artificial lake which supplies water to Athens.

Kállion - Kallípolis
40km/25mi from Mórnos, at the village of Kállion, is the partly excavated site of ancient Kallipolis. The remains so far brought to light include three km/two mi of the town walls, baths and a statue of Artemis. The town is thought to have been the capital of the region of Callieis mentioned in the writings of Thucydides (III, 96, 3).
