Münster - Landesmuseum

On the south side of the Domplatz in Münster stands the Westphalian Landesmuseum of Art and Culture (medieval sculpture, pictures by German Impressionists, superb collection of stained glass). Adjoining this on the south, in the street called Rothenburg, is the Landesmuseum of Archaeology. On the west side of the Domplatz is the Bishop's Palace (Bischöfliches Palais).

Northwest of the Domplatz is the Gothic Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) or Überwasserkirche (1340-46), with a richly articulated tower.
