Munich - Bavarian Motor Works, Head Office

(Local Name: Bayersiche Motorenwerke) Four gigantic silver cylinders soaring skywards above Munich's rooftops house the Head Offices of the Bayersiche Motorenwerke AG, better known as BMW. The distinctive 99m/325ft-high building is the creation of the Viennese architect Karl Schwanzer. The cloverleaf arrangement of the towers around a central shaft allows novel exploitation of the work space on individual floors.

At the foot of the skyscraper are the company's extensive vehicle works and multi-story parking lots.
