Berdorf

Berdorf is one of the main tourist areas in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is located on a vast tableland overlooking the valleys of the Black Ernz, the Sure and the Aesbach. Here are well-kept footpaths through the gulfs and chasms. There also are rocky mountains with fine views and 3,000 acres of forest.

There is rock climbing in the Wanterbach, a recreation center in Martbusch, and an all-weather swimming pool.

At the church in Berdorf the Roman altar is carved with sculptures of Apollo, Hercules, Minerva and Juno.

Nearby are the villages of Grundhof, Bollendorf and Weilerbach, on the banks of the Sure, at the entrance to the Mullerthal region and the Germano-Luxembourg park.
