Moura - Praça de Sacadura Cabral
The Praça de Sacadura Cabral is the town's central square on which stands the Church of John the Baptist, the Gothic Manueline Igreja de Sao Joao Baptista. In the right hand side chapel are azulejo versions of the Cardinal Virtues. The town hall on the opposite side of the square also contains the tourist information center plus a small regional museum with displays of archeological finds. In front of it is the Três Bicas fountain (with three jets). The Arabic inscription recalls Almotadide, Emir of Seville, who wrote much of his poetry in Moura.
