Morelos Convent Route
As well as the capital Cuernavaca and the attractive health and seaside resorts, the historically-interesting convents in the area should not be missed. These mainly 16th c. Dominican and Augustinian buildings were, in accordance with the policy of the Spanish conquerors, mostly constructed in important Indian centres.
