White Fish, Montana

White Fish is well known for White Fish Mountain Resort which draws skiers from all over. The town is busy year round with skiers in the winter and other outdoor enthusiasts during the summer. White Fish is also located within easy driving distance of Glacier National Park, one of Montana's biggest attractions with incredible scenery. The town is well set up for visitors with all kinds of hotels and restaurants catering to all types of travelers.

First Presbyterian Church, Whitefish

The First Presbyterian Church in Whitefish was erected in 1921. The church is noted for the many stained glass windows that serve as memorials and honorariums.

West Glacier, Montana

Located at the west entrance to Glacier National Park is the small town of West Glacier. Almost all tourists that stop here have come to visit the nearby park. The town has a number of hotels and resorts, as well as restaurants and all the necessities to cater to tourists. The summer is very short here and the prime months of July and August are very busy in West Glacier.

Kalispell, Montana

Kalispell (pop. 14,000) is located in Flathead Valley between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake in northwest Montana. The town was created by moving residents from Demersville and Ashley. Recreational opportunities include fly fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking and sailing.

Conrad Mansion National Historic Site Museum

Charles E. Conrad, founder of Kalispell, had this Victorian home built for his family in 1895 near the original townsite. The 26-room mansion has been restored and contains original furnishings.

Hockaday Museum of Art

The Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell features a collection of artworks by notable area artists. The six galleries feature etchings, paintings and sculpture that relate to Western and American Indian life.

Northwest Montana Historical Society Museum at Central School

The renovated 1894 Central School presents the history of northwest Montana through exhibits of forest preservation and pioneer life.

Columbia Falls, Montana

Columbia Falls (pop. 3,600) is located in northwestern Montana. The area offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities including golf, fly fishing, snowmobiling and camping.
