Moiese - National Bison Range Attractions

Bisons, antelopes, elks and other animals can be observed from signposted roads in this reserve, north of Missoula in the Flathead Reservation. As a complete contrast, the Miracle of America Museum in Polson, further to the north, has an astonishing collection of pure American kitsch.

The National Bison Range was established in 1908 with a wide range of habitats for wildlife including elk, deer, pronghorn, black bears, coyotes, and ground squirrels. Over 200 species of birds also call the Range home such as eagles, hawks, meadowlarks, bluebirds, ducks, and geese.
