Tidal Trail

The Tidal Trail leads from Moncton south on Highway 114, along the Petitcodiac estuary to Hopewell Cape, where it turns south-west along Shepody Bay and Chignecto Bay. At Riverside-Albert a slight detour along the 915, a very narrow and fairly basic little road, leads to Cape Enrage, with its lighthouse, jutting out into Chignecto Bay, part of the Bay of Fundy. Bathing from the steep, stony beach below the cape is highly dangerous. Next come Waterside, a little resort, and Alma, the delightful fishing port at the entrance to the Fundy National Park.
