At the Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site the ocean tides have carved the Flower Pot Rocks, pillars of sandstone and conglomerate rock with balsam fir and dwarf spruce. At high tide the rocks resemble islands.

The best time to visit the Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site is at low tide but the staff here also recommend visiting at high tide.

On site is an Interpretive Center with information on the area and the tides.
