Taylors Falls Attractions
Jesse Taylor built a cabin, sawmill, dam, and blacksmith shop for the new Baker Falls Company in the mid-1800s in the location of Taylors Falls (pop. 950). A dam was built in 1902 that covers the falls.
The Folsom House was built in 1855 and was home to lumber baron and state senator, WHC Folsom. The home reflects both Federal and Greek Revival architectural styles.
Water rides at Wild Mountain Water Park near Taylors Falls include the Hydro Tube, Super Chute, Big Country, and The Black Hole, The Lazy River and Wild Adventure Island. Wild Mountain also has formula K Go- Karts, and Alpine Slides.
