Minnesota - Lakes of the Northern Lights Region

The Lakes of the Northern Lights Region of Minnesota was used more than 200 years ago by French voyageurs as a main route for the transport of beaver and fur pelts. This land is home to some of the 10,000 lakes, along the borderland with Canada, as well as Voyageurs National Park, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Lake of the Woods.
