Little Falls (pop. 7,700) is located on both shores of the Mississippi River. The town is named for the rapids that supplied water to the lumber, flour and paper mills. Little Falls was the birthplace of Aviation pioneer Charles Linbergh, born in 1902.
The Charles A Lindbergh House State Historic Site tells the story of Charles Lindbergh, from his boyhood in Little Falls to his 1927 flight across the Atlantic, from New York to Paris. Original family furnishings and possessions are on display including hundreds of photographs. A full-scale replica of the Spirit of St Louis cockpit is available for visitors to enter.
The Charles A Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum is located in a building built with materials that are indigenous to Morrison County. The museum houses county history exhibits. The grounds feature natural prairie plantings, a gazebo overlooking the Mississippi River and a courtyard landscaped with American Locust trees surrounding a Victorian-style fountain.

At the Minnesota Fishing Museum in Little Falls the evolution of freshwater sportfishing in Minnesota is emphasized through handcrafted angling exhibits. Displays include lures, rods, reels, boats and motors.

The Minnesota Military Museum is located at Camp Ripley which is a 53,000-acre National Guard training center. Exhibits include weapons, uniforms, equipment, memorabilia and more than 1,000 photographs that depict Minnesota military history from 1819 to the present.

Pine Grove Park and Zoo in Little Falls features a small zoo which contains bears, birds, wolves, deer, elk, and bison located on a tract of white virgin pine. The Dewey Radke House, at the entrance to the park, was built in 1893 and contains 19th-century furnishings.
