Hibbing Attractions
Between Chippewa and Superior National Forest lies Hibbing, the centre of the Iron Range mining district. It has three claims to fame: it has the world's largest opencast iron-ore workings, the Hull Rust Mahoning Mine, which is open to the public; its local bus company gave rise to the Greyhound bus system; and it was the birthplace of Bob Dylan. The neighboring town of Chisholm has the Ironworld theme park.
