The Milan Historical Museum consists of a complex of historical buildings. Located on site are the Galpin Home, Sayles Home, Doll and Toy House, the Lockwood, Smith and Co. General Store, the Carriage Shed, Blacksmith Shop and the Four Season Perennial Garden. The main building at the Milan Historical Museum is the Greek Revival style Galpin Home, built in 1846 and owned by Dr Leman Galpin. The restored Sayles house is a colonial style building from 1843.
