Miamisburg Mound State Memorial

The Miamisburg Mound State Memorial is located near Carrollton and is an interesting sight. The mound was believed to have been built by Adena Indians somewhere in the timeframe of 800 BC to AD 100. The mound is just under 23 m/70 ft high and 292 m / 870 ft in circumference. The memorial park has picnic facilities and a playground but camping is not allowed.
