Northeast Miami

Mainly an industrial zone, Northeast Miami is home to a number of popular attractions including the American Police Hall of Fame and Police Museum and the Spanish Monastery. Many of the 35,000 Haitians who arrived in Miami in the late 1970's and early 1980's settled in the economically depressed area known as Little Haiti which is found in the Northeast district.
