Yecapixtla (Náhautl: "where the weak wind blows"; population 20,000; fiestas: Easter Sunday; April 25th, Dia de San Marcos; May 3rd, Dia de la Santa Cruz; last Thursday in October, Tianguis) is reached via two junctions and after about 10km/6mi. The All Saints' market is remarkable. Indians buy burial gifts for the Dia de los Muertos here, and
coloured candles in commemoration of the dead are sold: black for the graves of married people and adults, blue for those of young people, green for those of children and white for those of young girls.
