Access to Singuilcan is by way of a further road which branches to the right off the MEX 130 12km/7.5mi from El Ocote. It has an Augustinian convent of 1540 with a Plateresque doorway and interesting cloister, a Baroque church with 18th c. retablos, and a Franciscan friary of 1527.
