Messina - Piazza Municipio

From the Piazza del Duomo in Messina, we proceed to the City Hall on the Piazza Municipio and to the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele, which was reopened in 1986 after restoration work. Further north on the Via Garibaldi, a visit is recommended to the city park of Villa Mazzini and the Fontana del Nettuno Fountain of Neptune, which was built in 1557 and, like the Orion fountain, is a work of Montorsoli.
