The Brevard Zoo opened to the public in 1994 after more than 16,000 volunteers brought the dream to reality. The boardwalks of the zoo leads visitors through Latin America, Native Florida and Australia. An outback habitat and free flight aviary are featured with over 400 animals. An adventure playground for children and adults has interactive exhibits.
