Ahornspitze

On the other side of the Zillertal from Mayrhofen the Filzenboden (1,960m/6,874ft) can be reached by the Ahornbahn (cableway) and in 1.5 hours the Edelhütte (2,238m/7,345ft; refreshments in summer). From here the Ahornspitze (2,976m/9,767ft) can be climbed in 2.5 hours; extensive views from the summit.
