Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum

The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum features the history of the Life-Saving Service, aquariums, dolls' house replicas of hotels which once lined the boardwalk, artifacts from shipwrecks, a mermaid collection, vintage bathing suits and Sand From Around the World.

65th Street Slide & Ride (closed)

Slide & Ride has three water slides for varying age groups, inflatable bouncing castle, miniature golf, bumper boats, water wars and paintless paintball shooting gallery.

Wheels of Yesterday

Wheels of Yesterday is a collection of over 30 antique, classic and special-interest cars. Some of the more notable exhibits include the 1928 seven-passenger Lincoln, Chevrolet corvettes, and replica 1950's service station.

Jolly Roger Amusement Park

Jolly Roger Amusement Park provides rides, games, go-karts, splash mountain water park, a roller coaster and treasure golf for all ages.

Surroundings

Berlin

The village of Berlin began in the 1790s, it is believed that the name Berlin was derived from a contraction of Burleigh Inn. This tavern was located at the crossroads of the Philadelphia Post Road and Sinepuxent Road.

Assateague State Park

Assateague State Park is Maryland's only ocean park, located on Assateague Island. Visitors will enjoy fishing, swimming, beachcombing, sunbathing, surfing and camping on the two miles of ocean beach. Assateague State Park is also home to a variety of wildlife in the marsh areas.

Frontier Town

Frontier Town is a camping resort that features a Western theme park. The Wild West era is depicted through staged holdups, street fights and cancan shows. The water park in Frontier Town features a giant water slide, family fun pool, wagon covered mini-slides and an 18-hole miniature golf course.

Assateague Islands National Seashore

A complete contrast to Ocean City, the Assateague Islands National Seashore nature reserve to the south is a haven for rare sea birds, as well as wild ponies, presumably descended from those released here in the 17th c.

Calvin B Taylor House Museum

The Calvin B Taylor House Museum is located in a restored house, built in 1832, with the west wing set up as a gallery displaying local memorabilia. The architecture and period furnishings are the highlight of the museum.
