Greenbelt Museum is one of the original structures in the planned town built under Roosevelt's Resettlement Administration. The International Style house has been restored with furniture and objects relating to the period of 1936-1946. Some of the items on display include glass dishware, kitchen utensils, children's toys, clothes, and linens.

Greenbelt Park was used by Algonquin Indians who hunted the land. The settlers began clearing the land upon their arrival, causing wildlife to retreat. This site has 174 camping sites and offers a chance to view native plants and returning wildlife.
