The British Virgin Islands are located in the northern portion of the Caribbean Sea. They consist of 60 islands although only a small portion are inhabited with the most important islands being Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke. These islands are a popular place for sailing, with many of the islands catering specifically to this population. The islands are English speaking and the currency is US dollars.
