The Caribbean Island of Antigua is part of the Leeward Islands and well known for its beaches. The island is the largest and one of the most developed in the chain and caters heavily to tourists. The two main towns are St John's, where the large cruise ships dock, and English Harbour. Nelson's Dockyard and Falmouth Harbour have some beautifully restored historic districts to wander through. For some off island activities, the waters of Antigua also offer good scuba diving and sailing opportunities.
