Camden Attractions
Thanks to its spectacular situation on the south side of Penobscot Bay, framed by high hills, the little town of Camden is a popular holiday resort, with excellent sport and leisure facilities.
Camden (pop. 5,300) is located in Knox County.
The Old Conway House in Camden was built in the 1770s. Antique furniture and farm equipment reflect the time period.
Also on the property are a blacksmith shop, a Maple Sugar House, and the Mary Meeker Cramer Museum with a collection which includes ship models and sailing items, weapons, clothing, and other artifacts related to the local history.
