Standley Chasm - Surroundings

6km west of the turn-off to Standley Chasm is the junction with Namatjira Drive. Larapinta Drive continues to Hermannsburg, while Namatjira Drive runs northwest to the other gorges in the western Macdonnell Ranges. After passing through Glen Helen it continues as a track to Redbank Gorge Nature Park. A round trip via Gosse Bluff and so back to Hermannsburg is only practicable in a all-terrain vehicle.
