Description
The Larapinta Trail is a long distance walking trail which runs for 223km and is divided into 12 sections. The trail runs through the West MacDonnell Ranges. The 12 sections each vary in length and difficulty, most sections averaging a hike lasting a day or two.

Tips
There is water in the park, however it is recommended that all hikers carry at least a two day supply of water (approximately eight liters).
It is recommended to walk the trail only between the months of April and October, otherwise, the temperatures in the area climb drastically.
