Lin Fong Miu Temple / Templo de Lin Fong

The Taoist Lin Fong Miu, or Lotus Temple, was built in 1592, and long served as a staging point for travelers to China. It was both the residence and the office of the South Chinese mandarins, who rested here in the course of their long journeys. The entrance to the garden in front of the temple is guarded by stone figures of fabulous animals from Chinese mythology.
