Farol da Guia

The Colina da Guia (174m/571ft), was originally topped by a fort built about 1637. On the hill are a typically Portuguese chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Guia and a lighthouse of 1865, the first of its kind on the Chinese coast. From here, the highest point in Macau (now reached by a cableway), there are superb panoramic views over the whole territory.
