Lynchburg - Point of Honor

The Point of Honor in Lynchburg is a beautifully restored mansion dating from 1815. It was the home of Dr. George Cabell. The interior of the home is decorated in the High Federal styles coupled with the fashions of the time. The grounds surrounding the mansion are wonderfully designed, and feature annual and perennial gardens complete with a circular stone driveway. Also on site is a mini apple orchard that blooms quite spectacularly in the spring.

The Diggs Gallery features archeological finds from the grounds and introduces the various families that lived in the home.
