Wasserbillig Attractions
Wasserbillig is a large commercial center, located in the Moselle valley where it meets the Sure valley. At the easternmost point of the area there is a mosaic panel showing the Grand Duchy with its districts and rivers. Wasserbillig is a departure point for pleasure boat rides, including the "Marie-Astrid" offering cruises. There are several road and railroad bridges to the German shore, as well as ferries.
The woods are filled with walking paths that extend along the rivers. Wasserbillig is the beginning of several walking circuits of the Lower Sure and the Moselle.
In the "Weiler" forest near Wasserbillig and Lellig there are some remains of a Gallo-Roman churchyard. Also found are a Baroque church with carillon and a park with a sweetwater-fish aquarium (90,000 L).
