Septfontaines (pop. 500) lies in the middle of the extensive woods of the Eisch Valey, dominated by a medieval castle. It has a Gothic church and there are seven springs that meet at the Seven Fountains after which the town is named. There are walks through the Valley of the Seven Castles and an open-air swimming pool in Septfontaines.
