The villages of Rosport, Dickweiler, Osweiler, Steinheim, Hinkel-Girsterklaus and Girst lie in the picturesque countryside of the Lower Sure. In the area is a barrage with a hydro-electric plant.
There are pleasant walks in the Hoelt, the Girsterbusch and the Steinheimerbusch. A pilgrimage can also be made to Ginsterklaus.
The only exploitation of a natural gaseous mineral water spring in the Grand Duchy takes place in the area. The region is also home to a Tudor castle with park (Henry Tudor, pioneer of electrical lighting, was the inventor of the Tudor accumulator)and an open-air swimming pool.
