Roeser Attractions

The peaceful villages of the "Roeserbann" - Roeser, Berchem, Bivange, Crauthem, Kockelscheuer, Livange and Peppnage - lie in the green countryside on the banks of the Alzette river, 10km south of the capital city. There are numerous footpaths in the woods of this area.

At Kockelscheuer there is a leisure and recreation park.

In Bivange is the birthplace of the famous American photographer Edward Steichen.

Peppange has a notable Benedictine monastery with frescoes.

Crauthem is home to a sports center and a fitness trail while Livange has a popular shopping area.
