Petange Attractions

Pétange, Rodange and Lamadelaine (total pop. 12,650) are well built and pleasant towns near the French and Belgian borders. Pétange and Lamadelaine lie at the foot of the historic Titelbierg with an ancient Roman fortification (the excavations can be visited). Pétange has a covered swimming pool while Rodange has an outdoor pool, 40km of walking trails and a tourist train that goes to Fond-de-Gras. Both Lamadelaine and Pétange have fishing ponds.

The tourist train at Rodange travels twice a day to Fois-des-Gras.

Tips

The train is closed on June 23. It is open on all other holidays during its season. The departure times are 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
